About Jeff
StudioJeff is the only ballroom dance studio in St. Cloud. I offer both group lessons and individual (for individuals and couples) lessons. I teach all the partner dances including ballroom, latin, country/western, etc.
I love teaching individuals and couples to dance and to prepare people for weddings. I've taught wedding couples, father/daughter, mother/son, wedding parties, and other combinations. I can choreograph a special and unique dance just for your wedding party.
I also teach individual women who want to stay active and learn a new activity hobby. I have taught women and couples for competition. I regularly teach couples so they cean learn to dance socially.
Dancing is a good investment because once you learn it you have it for the rest of your life/lives.
I took a dance class while I was high school in Pennsylvania and realized that I was good at dancing and a quick learner compared to my classmates. Then when I graduated from college, there was an ad in the paper for dance instructors and although that wasn't what I went to school for, I applied and was accepted. I love every minute of being in a dance studio and you will too!
I was trained at Arthur Murray Dance Studios through the Gold Bar level. I attend annual training to stay current. This training includes attending the American Style Congress each year and also taking private coaching lessons with coaches in the Twin Cities. I compete with a professional partner on a regular basis which keeps me up to date on everything.

I usually recommend that people take one lesson and then see if they want to proceed with more. That way, they get a chance to see the studio and see my technique to know if it is something they want to continue with. Everyone learns at different rates and has different goals so we work with people individually.
I have worked with teenagers, newlyweds or about to be newlyweds, young, middle aged, and older students and couples. They all love dancing and everyone can learn.
Try a lesson to see if you feel comfortable with that instructor and studio. If you feel like you are being pressured to buy more than you want to buy, move on.
Our group classes on Friday evenings at 7pm are really fun. I just taught that class and had new couples learning the swing. They picked up well and enjoyed learning the new steps. One of them is going to be married soon and is excited to add dancing to their list of things to do together.

I take private lessons at StudioJeff with Jeff Ringer. He is creative in his choreography, patient in his coaching; he stretches me to learn new steps building on what I have already learned, and is good at listening to and integrating my thoughts and creative ideas into our dances. In private lessons Jeff is an amazing and patient teacher. He is very experienced in all styles and really teaches to the student. The group lessons are also a fun way to learn even if you don't have a partner.
StudioJeff is a fantastic place to learn ballroom dancing. You'll learn everything from Waltz, Fox Trot, Salsa, Cha Cha, Swing and much more! The studio offers many different ways to learn including private lessons or group lessons. Friday nights are always a hit with a one hour group lesson followed by a variety dance! It's the best place in central MN to learn to dance!

Details
Each lesson is $60 per lesson. Each lesson is 50 minutes and starts at the top of the hour. Students may purchase a package of ten lessons at a 10% discount making ten lessons $540. The price is per lesson not per person. Therefore, the cost for an individual is the same as the costs for a couple.
If three couples want to arrange a lesson together then each person would pay $10. If there are more than 6 people in a group, then the price is $10 per person.
