About Shea
I am a teaching of economics and algebra 1 both. I teach NJ common core mathematics and both macro and micro economics.
I've been tutoring since I was in middle school and I love helping students. I do prefer working one-on-one, I think the results are better, but I love my job!
I am currently pursuing my MA in education and am working as a high school teacher. I also have several years of tutoring experience.

I try to start with a slightly shorter session in order to understand exactly what the student is having trouble with.
I have worked with students of varying abilities and skill sets. I am not trained to work with ASD students, but my brother is Autism spectrum and I do work with several Autistic students in my classroom.
I always believe that it is better to hire a tutor if you genuinely believe you need/want one.
I recently started learning ballroom dance and being a student again for something I've never done is so odd but so fun.
