Focus on great fundementals. Then work towards making “their” swing as functional, efficient and effective as possible.
Women, Men and teens.
Find a teacher/coach that wants to work WITH you. Ask questions, lots of questions. Don’t be worried about hurting feelings or insulting their intelligence or ego. If they bruise that easy, you don’t want to work with them anyways.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Be honest! If you tell me that you hit everything great but you just can’t hit a driver, you’re the only one that’s being fooled. Whatever it is you do with your driver, I promise you that you do it with your 7 iron as well.
Wanting to add 50 yards to your irons, quite likely isn’t going to happen. 15-20 yards, well, maybe but it’s going to take time and effort on your part.
Anyone that guarantees you success.....stay away. There are NO guarantees!

Perfect! Very professional, and friendly.
Perfect! Kelly is the quintessential golf instructor. As a brand new player he made me feel at ease and understood. He is great at explaining techniques and provides lots of visual aids along the way helping you grasp the various concepts. Kelly is very attentive and has just the right temperament you’d hope for in a coach. Just after one lesson he had me swinging better then I ever have! If your on the fence, get off and give home a shot! You’ll be glad you did!
Perfect! You can really tell Kelly is dedicated to helping you understand your swing and what you need to improve on. He won't just give you tips and pointers you can find in a magazine, he helps you take control of your game. Lessons are a casual atmosphere, but incredibly informative and effective if you put the time in to practice what you've learned.

I have taken many golf lessons over the last 30 years. Kelly was the first Teaching Pro to suggest that I see a Physical Therapist to gain as much mobility in my left hip as possible. He said he could work with my limitations if necessary. He would even take a personal interest by sending me an email about something he thought of to try in between lessons. His positive post lesson videos were very helpful reinforcing what we need to work on. Kelly is also very adept at using technology to help with his teaching and fitting of clubs.
Kelly teaches to the strength of the player. He knows how to communicate in a way that everyone can understand. Best teacher in the valley.
Great understanding of the golf swing. Listens to his students, and will help improve your golf swing. From full swing, to short game, and putting, Kelly is one of the best.
I had a sand lesson with Kelly quite awhile ago, if I go back to the basic technique he taught me I actually like the sand.
Kelly did not try to get me to fit into an assigned category, he helped me improve based on my physical abilities and restrictions. He individualized my teaching to accommodate my mental and physical needs. He is patient. He helped my handicap come down to an 7-8 from 16.
