First let me set the stage; I am 76 years old, in relatively good shape and been playing golf over 50 years. I have had several instructors over the years. Without a doubt I never was able to give any of them 5 stars. Robert provided instruction I could relate to my game and with practicing the drills I saw vast improvement. I need to mention he provided some drills that were never presented to me before and were excellent. Robert works with your abilities which makes a big difference at my age. Robert teaches with a positive attitude and in doing so I felt relaxed and I always felt he really cared about my progress.

Robert is so good at what he does. I did the beginner 6 lessons where he started off by breaking down my original swing and told me what I was doing right and corrected what I was doing wrong. It was really hard adjusting to this new swing but by the time I got to my 6th lesson things were starting to click for me. I can confidently say working with Robert has improved my game significantly.

I started playing golf 5 weeks ago after a coworker invited me out. I may have hit 2 or 3 playable shots the entire round. A former student and friend of mine suggested I contact Robert. After the first 5 minutes I knew I was going to love taking lessons with Robert. His energy is unmatched and his attitude could not be kinder. We started with a swing analysis and within about 10 shots, Robert had me hitting the ball straight. I used to have to aim about 60 degrees to my left to play into my slice, but those days are gone. Today I was 10 feet from a hole in 1 on a par 3. Just a week ago I didn’t even take tee shots on par 3s because it was just a waste of a ball. I know that after the next 5 lessons with Robert I will be unrecognizable as a golfer.

One thing that really stood out with Robert is that he said after 6 lessons he hoped I’d never need another one from him again. He isn’t an instructor that is going to string you along for 15 lessons and drain your wallet. He genuinely wants you to get better and have fun doing it. The most important take away from my lesson is that it was FUN!!! It didn’t feel like I was being coached, it felt like a lifelong friend was giving me advice. If you are thinking the slightest bit about taking golf lessons, take a PROPPER lesson!!!!!

I had such a great experience with Robert. You can really tell he loves what he does! He was always in good spirits and never made me feel bad for my lack of skills. His easy going style

I bought the 6 lesson package from Rob. The first lesson he walked me through some fundamentals of making solid contact of the ball. By the end of that lesson I was taking my 8 iron consistently 150-160 yards I had never hit it further than 110 before and there was 0 apex on my ball. Rob walked me through my swing before correcting issues. I was flat footed and coming down with tremendous clubhead speed. After the 1st lesson it was into putting. He taught me several skills that after 6 lessons reduced my strokes in a total 18 holes overall by 12 (minimum) I would consider that a tremendous success. I would advise the 6 lesson package. We did a swing analysis and correction, putting, bump and run, sand trap, and pitching. However, I thought I knew the right way to hit all these shots but apparently I didn’t know which reduced overall stroked tremendously per game. I went from 3 putts to minimum of 2 putts but hitting way more GIR due to techniques taught as well as approaches within 100 yards of pin. Rob’s enthusiasm, qualifications and overall energy is worth its weight in gold. After 6 lessons I will be back to doing more with him to tighten my game. For the first time I shot a 90 with 0 handicap or mulligans which was huge since picking up the game 19 months ago. 10* service. Rob without a doubt could improve anyones game!

As a 75 year old beginner, I’ve tried out many golf “Pros” over the past four years. All of them could hit the ball, but none were effective teachers. Consequently I spent lots of money but learned very little. Robert has been a refreshing change. He is very knowledgeable, and organized and has been able to convey to me how I can achieve more consistency, distance and accuracy with my swing. He came highly recommended and is a pleasure to work with. He is a gentleman scholar of the game with an affable and positive attitude.

I am very new to golf and used to play high school baseball so as you could imagine my swing is pretty horrific. I’ve taken several lessons with Robert now. I’ve been a determined golfer for years now but have seen little improvement because I didn’t seek out the expertise of a coach. Robert has been monumental in deconstructing my swing, keeping me focused on the foundations and in giving me practical ways to think about how to improve at the range and on the course. I high recommend him. In addition, he’s more focused on me hitting the ball well through repetition after constructive tweaks and less focused on talking and talking like so many other coaches to where you never actually practice. I’m going to continue meeting with Robert every week or so.
