My first class with Evelyn was in a small group of true beginners. On that first day, Evelyn was able to customize instruction, leading some to crochet, others to knitting, and each student to an individual project that suited interest as well as expectations. As we each made "errors" (necessary in the learning process), Evelyn would share that we were employing an advanced skill that will later become useful, show us how to work back to correct our stitches, and encourage us that our efforts were progressing well.

She has experience with neuro-diverse people at many ages and stages, and adapts her explanations appropriately.
