About Eri
I am a professional Latin Ballroom dancer. I have won Professional Rising Star Rhythm Championships, and was also a guest dancer on Dancing with the Stars. I teach mostly competitive latin ballroom dancing. But I can also teach social dancing.
My Rate is $50/hour plus the floor fee. I do have a package deal also. I can travel to teach different studios within Los Angeles area.

I have been dancing ballroom/latin over 15 years. (and other styles of dance before that) I have competed pro last several years, and had won championships. I am still currently competing with my partner, and also taking coaching from world class judges/coaches to keep my technique current.

It depends on each student's goal.
Beginner to Intermediate
A student should make sure that the teacher has experience in competing, and has formal trainings. The biggest mistake that anyone can make is that you get some cheap lessons from unqualified teachers, and learn the wrong thing, and will have to fix it down the road. You get what you paid for. I would definately avoid taking lessons from Arther Murray or Fred Astair where those teachers are also inexperienced and sometimes beginner dancers themselves. I think it is also a big plus if a teacher competing currently or taking a coaching from judges (=keeping up with the current techniques).
I think every moment in dancing is precious! I find it everywhere, practicing with my partner, even by myself, competing, , teaching, taking coaching etc... I just love to dance!
