About Michele
I am a teacher that believes strongly in individualizing my approach based on the individual person's learning style and personality.
gI have 20 + years as a guitar teacher and music teacher, and 5 years experience as a life coach for self esteem, abuse recovery, and and rewiring self limiting beliefs that are holding you back in life.
Individualized lessons designed for the unique personality and learning style of the student.

Learning disabilities and special needs skills and experience from both medical and teaching backgrounds.
Students can choose their favorite songs and styles. Learn cover tunes as well as create your own originals.
I love the hobbiest guitar lover, as well as the serious student that desires to play professionally or attend a music college.
My bachelor's degree is from Towson University in guitar, music education, and psychology. Graduate level studies in music education and special education.

My approach to life coaching, music teaching, English as a second language, or anything else I am working with the client about, is to listen and hear what the student's concerns and goals are. Then to support and guide that client to strengthen themselves in order to grow and expand their lives.
I love seeing someone's eyes light up when they finally play that cool favorite song of theirs!
Plus learning guitar helps to build self esteem and it increases focus. The ability to learn and succeed carries over to other areas of life.
I started teaching lessons when I was in college.
After I graduated, I worked for New Song Guitar Center in Maryland as a guitar teacher, and beginning keyboard teacher.
My journey as a life coach evolved out of my own personal experiences with feeling like somethingwas wrong in my life, and from that feeling I embarked on a journey of realization that our actions and behaviors are driven by the beliefs we hold in our subconscious about ourselves, our "proper role", and the societal brainwashing that keeps us effectually stuck in our supposed roles.
My personal journey began as I began to unravel the difference between who people told me I was and the actuality of my own ability to become a creator of my own journey, with my own priorities that both support me and guide my perception of reality in a way that negates any self limiting beliefs, and predisposed roles imposed upon us without our knowledge and without our consent.
You are an individual that is so unique, as to be able to experience an expanded sense of reality in a way that will allow you to perceive the world around you in a completely new and different way.
And when this happens, you can begin to unshackle your chains and restrictions that were based upon pleasing someone else and accomodating their reality.
I have found that each one of us has a possibility of expansion beyond the mondane, superficial and societal imposed psychosis.
It is similar in many ways to Neo in The Matrix. We are trapped in a reality that someone else decided upon, and at some point when that reality no longer serves us in a supportive way, it can become apparent that there is more.
More to your life and more to your role in the world. You are ready to embark on a new journey.
Living only to please, appease, and validate someone else's delusion of reality can only result in frustration and pain.
But you can assimilate this pain and the lessons it has taught you , in order to use it to help you to explore what really matters to you as a unique, sovereign individual soul that is currently living in this perception of reality.
Spread your wings and don't worry about how people will react to unexpected and new behaviors from you.
You no longer have to live to serve the reality of others. They are on their own path, and they might be looking to you for agreeing with the way they want things to be.
But enabling someone to continue to stay in the delusion of self limiting beliefs and self sabataging behaviors is only enabling them to stay stuck also.
Let go of any toxic shame and guilt that binds you into feeling obligated to say you see reality the same way others do
To grow and improve your life, is to pursue your joy and to follow what makes you feel alive. Living implies a continuation to grow and to expand beyond the point where you are right this moment.
It might require letting go of certain individual people, including family members, friends, spiritual leaders, and the role that you have been conditioned to believe is who you are.
But beyond this moment is a new reality that only you can fully appreciate and draw abundance from.

Meeting a new student is unique each time. Each person has their own personality and their own special reasons for wanting to study guitar.
I listen to what the student thinks and feels about what music means to them personally. Then I find out what outcomes they are looking to work towards.
I have worked with all types of students, from teenagers that were preparing to be music majors in college, pre-teens who were interested to learn, adults who were picking up guitar for the first time, to special needs children and adults.
For life coaching, I specialize in self esteem, recovery and healing from abusive relationships involving gaslighting and ongoing abuse.
Also, relationship coaching, spiritual awakening coaching and guidance to finding your path based on your unique personality type, temperament, and experiences.
How to take unhealthy or traumatic past experiences and plant them to grow , nourish and create the path you will continue to envision and expand that vision into an ever - flowing garden of experiences that lead you eventually toward validation, enlightenment, inspiration, in the zone of creating an expansive reality that supports and protects you.
Relax and allow your self expression to come out.
Don't stress over mistakes or not getting things right away.
Just like anything else, learning comes with practice and with allowing the skills to become familiar.
