About Lindsay
Hello! My name is Lindsay and I live in South Florida. I graduated at the top of my class from Manhattan College in 2015. I have a B.A. in history, communication, and Spanish. In high school, I was editor of the yearbook and continued writing for the school newspaper in college.
I previously worked at a daycare with children up to 5 years old. They offered an after-school program, where I tutored elementary school students. I am a youth group leader and mentor to 11th-grade girls at my church and volunteer with the Child Rescue Coalition. After I tutored some of my 11th-grade students in history and English, I discovered I enjoyed watching them learn, improve and become more confident. I am passionate about protecting the youth and advancing the next generation.
More recently, I have worked in the corporate world but have continued to advance and expand my writing skills.
My background includes the following:
-Basic reading and writing skills
-Editing and grammar
-Research papers
-Essay writing
-Book reports
-Thesis papers
-Creative writing
-Test prep
For older students who may be looking to broaden their skills, I can offer help with the following:
-Proposal writing
-Press releases
-Blogging
-Speech writing
-Email communication
-News articles

Lindsay is an amazing tutor. My son loved working with her and we've seen such an improvement in his performance in school. She is very knowledgeable and professional.
Lindsay is a God send. She is kind, knowledgeable and patient. I was struggling with my school work and Lindsay was able to walk me through everything step by step in a way I was able to grasp. Not only has Lindsay helped me get mostly As, she has also been so patient and personable every time we meet and gave me the time I needed until I understood everything. If you are looking for a tutor definitely go to Lindsay!
Lindsay is extremely patient and knowledgeable! She helped my 8th grader who was struggling with her writing skills and is now getting all A’s on her English assignments. Could not recommend her enough.
