About Shireef
Teaching is very subjective. A correct answer in a class with my teacher might not be exactly what the teacher is looking for in the same class with your teacher. I'm honest, there are certain things, even in classes that I aced, that I don't know now due to a constantly changing curriculum. Learning is a process, and the things that I do know will be very helpful, but as for things that have changed, we will work together towards learning them. I don't know everything and I am not afraid to admit it, and I believe this makes me more approachable.
As for my experience, I have been tutoring on and off for about 3 years now in math. This has been mostly for high school math, with some college math.
I started doing non-payed tutoring for students that needed help with math in high school. I realized I genuinely enjoyed teaching and helping others, and have tutored many others since.
High school education with several APs (11) and working towards a Computer Science degree at Binghamton University.
