About Jacques
Greetings! I’m a math tutor in Florence, SC. Working as an engineer during the, I’ve been involved in tutoring coworker’s kids in ACT/SAT test prep through college courses. I specialize in trigonometry, and have become adept in helping other learn and retain math skills.
My approach is to make concepts clear by helping students understand that math is like language, you have to understand definitions to use it clearly. Through this approach, successful student learn why the concepts matter and make it relatable, instead of repetitively working through problems to get answer.
I look forward to working with. When you hire me, I’ll review the material first then put together a session to that will help bring understanding to you. I’m available nights and weekends.
