About Natalia
I am a senior at TERRA high school. I've taken every level math up to AP Calculus BC and finished with straight A's/5's on AP exams. I scored a 1500 SAT and have experience thus far tutoring in Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and elementary math. However, I'm able to tutor in other subjects as well. I think being a student gives me an edge in the business because I'm aware of the latest teaching tactics and all the information is fresh in my brain. I've been passionate about math ever since I could remember and I'd love to help others appreciate the subject, as well.
I started tutoring as a favor to family friends. As time passed, I noticed that they'd tell their friends and more people were interested in my tutoring services. As the demand increased, I started my business.

The majority of my work has been with 8th and 9th graders, but I've also tutored 5th and 6th graders.
Hire a teacher who makes those connections between concepts clear in your head. One thing is being able to do an example in a book, but you should be able to apply what you learned to multiple applications of the same problem after tutoring. Different people have different methods of understanding things. Hire the one who makes it "click."
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
You should write down those questions that pop up in your head while your teacher is doing a lesson. In your books, circle examples that you don't fully grasp. Differentiate between what you fully understand, somewhat understand, and don't understand at all in order to make the most of your time in tutoring.
