About Sofia
Hi! I'm Sofia. I love working with students and traveling. For me, the most rewarding part of tutoring is when a new concept “clicks” with a student - it’s a privilege to be able to help them reach that point! On a personal level, and with students, I am a patient and nerdy type of person.
I partner with students on a one-on-one basis in STEM subjects through SoFlo Tutors, my tutoring agency. I graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Computer Engineering and have been tutoring with SoFlo for two years. Math and Science build on themselves, so my methodology is to identify gaps in a student’s knowledge of a subject and help to fill them in with individualized lessons! In the long run, SoFlo works ourselves out of jobs by strengthening your student's self-sufficiency!
