About Francisco
Hello my name is Francisco. I understand how to convey a message in a way that'll be fruitful for learning, not just memorization. My experience as a tutor has been to be a Peer Tutor for students at my local high school. I have nearly 3 years of paid experience, I will make sure the student is set up to succeed. In the process of learning, I've acquired various skills to convey the message of math to students of varying ages.
I created a Peer Tutoring program my first year in high school because I noticed that my Peers were being left behind in classes because teachers either didn't care or couldn't be bothered to backtrack.

I have a conversation with the student over their progress in their class, and what they believe their individualized learning style. I guage their understnading in their course by a combination of placement exams and
I've worked with students from varying ages, from 3rd grade to college students.
I was explaning to one of my students what averages meant conceptually, then I saw his eyes light up and he finished his problem set very fast. I was very proud.
