About Noaj
Hi, I'm Noah Ajitsingh. I'm a current college student at Stony Brook University. I've tutored a variety of people of different ages and experience levels throughout my time in school. The subjects that I have the most experience in is chemistry, calculus (as well as other lower level math, pre-calculus and below), and biology however, I'm still very proficient in topics such as US history, biology, statistics, psychology, and European history between 300-1000. My method of teaching revolves around example based teaching in which I break down the topics and problems into smaller more understandable chunks and from there finding out where the student's problem in understanding lies and then fixing where they lack understanding. My tutoring also involves a lot of patience as well since understanding can be difficult but, most the times the people I tutor catch on pretty quick once we figure out where lack of understanding is. I'm a great listener and problem solver so, if there is any feedback from parents or students I'm more than willing to listen and will change whatever lesson plans needs to be accommodated to the best of my ability. I look forward to teaching and helping everyone more and make people see that learning can be fun and fulfilling.
