About Kristine

I find this art for freeing as it does not require perfection as stained glass does. It also is open to adding many other types of decoration besides glass. I often use china, shells, jewelry etc. It is very easy to learn and do!

I owned Art Supply stores for 21 years, after that I tried stained glass and found it too detailed and unforgiving. I then tried mosaics and I am hooked! I have only taken one class, the rest is self taught. 

I make custom pieces in the $800-$2000 range. I am taking a break from that to teach for awhile. I enjoy meeting people and the joy that creating something lovely gives me and others.

I am open to any level of student, but beginners will have zero difficulty picking up this art form. I provide everything, you do not need to bring anything to class. 
 The choice of what to make is yours. I will give you several choices. We will make a small piece together to get you used to cutting glass and grouting, then you can move on to House signs, mailbox, yard art etc.
