About Kelley
I'm here to listen to you. I have a BFA from Kent State University. I'm available to help you follow your muse. If you are unsure about how to start, we can explore styles and theories together. If you are interested in the basics of drawing or painting theory, such as tone, line, perspective . . . I'm classically trained. If you have your own idea of what you want to do with your work, I am open minded and also trained in comic art through conceptual theories. I can help you make YOUR work better. I offer only constructive criticism. I'm not going to try to make you feel bad about your artwork. I'm here to help you develop it in the direction of your choosing. Sometimes a person is not sure where to start. I would love to give you projects which will help you technically, while we look 👀 at different world artists and figure out what you are drawn to. I'm well versed in art history. I also love kids, and have two years of art education experience, just in case your Picasso is on the younger side. I'm comfy with shy types and feisty people alike. I want you to feel good and create art to share with the world, or just because it's so relaxing 😌. All ages welcome.
If I had allllll of the free time in the world, I would spend the time painting. Helping my students get comfortable exploring, and strengthening them talents to the point where they always have satisfaction is a joyful way to celebrate art.
