Experienced tutor in Photography in Charlottesville, Stacey offers private lessons tailored to your needs.

I had a fantastic experience with Stacey learning how to professionally photograph my paintings. I am at a beginner level with my camera. Stacey was extremely patient and clear about explaining the basics and providing a step by step method for me to return to again and again. My paintings are a challenge to light and photograph given their sheen and texture. Stacey helped me through this process and taught me how to play with the lighting to eliminate glare and find the best result. Stacey is a warm, generous person, an expert in her field, and a pleasure to work with. The task of photographing my artwork at first seemed overwhelming, but soon became fun and achievable with Stacey's engaging instruction. Highly recommended!

Stacey has helped me a number of times work through specific technical challenges for my own art projects. this has included help with photography, photoshop and even animation. Stacey is a great teacher- clear and logical in her explanations, but most importantly (especially when it comes to technology) she makes me believe I can in fact learn something that I might have initially thought was beyond my skills.
