About Carol
I have been a qualified teacher since 2005. I have been tutoring since 2010. As a tutor all my GCSE students who were failing maths and/or English, who studied with me for more than 10 months got the the grades they required to progress to whichever course they had applied to. I have helped over 50 students get their GCSE grades and 30 students cope with the pressure of Key Stage 2 SATs.
I have a continuing roll on, roll off group of international students having English speaking short lessons with a few doing formal English reading and writing.

I provide one to one tutoring which is tailored specifically to the individuals needs. This can include homework help, building on specific skills and test preparation. I specialise with students struggling to pass Key Stage 2 SATs and GCSE English language, English Lit and Maths.
I have also taught English to non-native speakers providing 15 minute sessions on understanding spoken English.
