About Edith
Hello!
Im Edith, i'm a recent college graduate from Los Angeles College of Music with BA in music and vocal.
I've been singing and performing on a stage since I was 5 and still do!
I'm able to teach all genres of vocal; pop, hip hop, rock, country, ballads, classical/ opera and more !
Im also able to teach songs that are in Spanish (I am Spanish speaker).
Im able to teach a separate class of Vocology/ Pedagogy, the function of the voice.
Vocology/ Pedagogy goes more into detail about the "mechanics" of what is going on inside our throats like for example, when the singer starts to strain.
I've been working as a vocal coach for almost a year.
I've worked both as a private lesson teacher and as a group with students from ages 4- 30yrs old.
It was really a joy to work with my past students but I've decided that the next step for me in life was for me to part ways and go be my own boss in a way.
because connecting with the students on music is something I definitely did not want to leave behind.
it really is a great feeling seeing them slowly come out of their shells and really believe in themselves. It reminds me when I was that age and so curious about music.
