About Lianne
“As a teacher, I am passionate about discovering innovative ways to help students of all ages and experience levels find their voice. Whether through singing or drama we all have something important to share. I will work together with each student to find techniques and repertoire that meet your individual interests and learning style. For children, we will find songs you love and play games we invent together!
I have studied opera, musical theater, piano, drama and dance and continue to study today. I have also cared for children of all ages for many years and they have taught me so much about learning. It is my goal to keep each student engaged and motivated to improve each week. I believe learning should be rewarding and fun for all ages!”

I have a Bachelor and Master of Music in Vocal Performance from the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. I have also served on the voice faculties of Dean College, Operatunity Performing Arts Center, The Bronx Conservatory of Music, and Little Chopins NYC.

For new students, I will typically schedule an initial lesson of at least 45 minutes so I can get to know you, learn about your experience thus far and what your goals are for lessons moving forward. We will then do a warmup to assess a plan for opening up the voice and I will have you to sing something you love, so you can see how our work will help you sing your best right away!
I have worked with students of all ages and experience levels in music ranging from pop, musical theater, jazz, and opera. I offer musical theory lessons, audition preparation for voiceover, Broadway, and high school and college admission.
