About Jennifer
I believe it is important to connect with and understand each individual client I work with on a personal level in order to truly be able to help them reach their dreams and goals as best as I can. I have been called "Vocal teacher/therapist" many times by multiple clients and I take pride in this.
I've also been coaching and teaching voice and music for over 17 years in multiple genres and styles of music to all walks of life and I've been a performer even longer. Because of the wide range of experience in genre, I am able to help multiple styles of singing. Thanks to almost two entire decades of teaching and mentoring, I have now officially launched my own business and mentorship vocal program called "Conscious Singing." CS brings more to the table than just regular individual vocal lessons by incorporating a group immersion aspect. Studies have been shown that when you work in groups of people who share the same dreams and goals instead of just individually you are more likely to stay motivated and work towards meeting your goals.
At the end of the day the foundational techniques one needs to be a good singer are universal.
I love helping people have their "ah-ha" moments and watching them transform and make progress through the expression of voice.
In college when I needed to earn money and it turned into a lifelong career. I've been teaching music for over 17 years now.

About the lesson

1. Typically on the first lesson we have a consultation where I interview the student and get to know them and their dreams and goals.
2. After the initial few minutes of getting to know each other I will next warm up their voice or show them a warm up on their respective instrument.
3. Then I will listen to them sing or play a song of their choice if they are able. This will help me evaluate their skill level which will tell me exactly what we need to work on in the following lessons to help the student grow and get better.
4. If there is time we will work through the song they just sang or played.

I was a total beginner when I started working with Indee. She has given me the confidence and the tools to understand my voice. She is a wonderful teacher. I have gained a lot of control over my voice in a short amount of time and she has taught me exercises and helped me develop a practice to continue forward.
I absolutely love working with her!! I have been her student for a long time and she has always been so supportive and kind. She is an excellent teacher and she is very good at being able to accommodate to however each of her students learns best and whatever type of music they want to learn. Along with teaching music, she is also able to give great first hand advice about what it’s like to work as a musician or just about life in general.
Working with Jennifer has been a wonderfully transformative experience. I’ve seen myself grow as a singer, artist, performer and person!
