About Alyssa
Hi! I'm Alyssa. I am a Spanish to English translator with a passion for the Spanish language and associated cultures.
During these difficult times of virtual learning, I can help you or your child with Spanish assignments, proofreading, or general tutoring sessions. For those looking to practice their Spanish speaking skills, I can also conduct speaking/conversational sessions.
A little bit about me:
I hold a BA in Spanish Language and Literature with a concentration linguistics.
I have 5 years of experience teaching languages to people of all ages and levels. Prior to completing my college degree, I lived in Spain for two years where I worked as an English teacher at a language school. In this position, I designed engaging curriculum which I catered to the ages and experience levels of my students.
In addition, I have also taught Spanish to groups of children and adults in the US. While in college, I worked as a Spanish tutor on campus which entailed proofreading essays and presentations, assisting with homework assignments, and providing further instruction on complex content.
