About Devarshi
I understand that these subjects can feel challenging: Economics can seem abstract, while Maths can feel intimidating when concepts don’t click straight away. My teaching style focuses on breaking topics down step by step, building understanding from the ground up, and helping students gain the confidence to tackle questions independently. How I help students succeed: • Clear explanations – I simplify complex ideas into manageable steps, making them easier to understand and remember. • Strong foundations – I ensure core principles are solid before moving on, which is key for both Maths and Economics. • Exam-focused approach – We work through exam-style questions, common mistakes, and mark schemes to maximise results. • Real-world examples – I link concepts to real-life and industry scenarios so they feel relevant and intuitive, which is particularly helpful for these subjects • Patient & encouraging support – I create a relaxed environment where questions are always welcome.

I’m a graduate in Bachelor of Economics and Finance, working in the insurance sector, with a strong passion for teaching Economics and Maths. I enjoy helping students understand concepts clearly, build confidence, and feel capable in subjects they may find challenging. I teach because I know how powerful the right explanation can be. Seeing a student move from confusion to confidence is what motivates me, and my goal is to make learning feel clear, supportive, and achievable.
