About Deborah
I am the owner/instructor of YogaMix Studio in Missouri City. My classes are small and intimate, not like a normal gym yoga class. The energies in my studio are very calming and noticeable as soon as you enter. I am also a Certified Aromatherapist and a Reiki Master Practitioner.
I have been doing yoga all my adult life. So it is my life! I love helping people better themselves thru exercise, yoga, meditation, Reiki sessions and Aromatherapy. All these practices marry very well together helping us all to live healthier, happier lives.
I was introduced to Hatha Yoga in 1974 by a friend and discovered the health benefits from the practice. I have been on this journey all of my adult life and in 2013 decided that I needed to share my experiences and my love for Yoga to any one that was interested. In 2014, I was introduced to the healing energies of Reiki and spiritually was drawn to this practice and received my Certification as a Reiki Master Practitioner in 2015. In 2011, I became very interested in the healing benefits of essential oils and began using them in my daily routine. In 2016, took the Aromatherpy course from Aromahead Institute.
I am a certified Yoga Instructor thru Lex Gillian of the Yoga Institute. I have been practicing yoga since 1974. I am also a Reiki Master Practitioner. I have received attunements from Rev. Jeff Wuttke, Charlene Fox and Heather Sievers over the past 3 years. I am also a Certified Aromatherapist thru the Aromahead Institue.

I typically invite the new student to a Introduction to Hatha Yoga at a time they are available. This class runs about 30 minutes. I teach the Complete Yogic Breathe, Ujjayi Breathing, a control breathe technique and several easy stretches and asanas. The cost for this Intro class is $20
I have worked with all types of students, young and old, flexible and inflexible, stiff and sore, closed & open minded. Yoga has helped them all.
When it is your time to learn, your teacher will appear!

I have been doing Yoga twice weekly with with Deborah for the past two years. I look forward to these two productive sessions which culminate in total relaxation. I am more flexible now than I was 30 years ago!
