About Paola
Yoga classes with a biomechanical approach.
I give private lessons or small group classes, I have a small practice space to share at home. Classes at the park are also provided if the weather is nice.
What does biomechanics approach means?? This means that the practice is focused on the alignment of the body and specific muscles. I have been doing yoga for more than four years now and last year I became a yoga teacher with the biomechanical approach. I have beeen teaching since then. I was an athlete and have many injuries so I like to focus in alignment and right way to do a movement before being rushing to achieve crazy postures.
Yoga can really help a person to improve mobility and emotional stability. So I enjoy being able to provide wellness for a person that really needs it. Also Yoga can be adapted to all kind of needs, it is not necessary to stick to something, we can always try different postures or excercises to increase strength, Balance or flexiblility so I enjoy to be able to adapt to achieve what is needed.
I was having Acroyoga classes and then I got invited to co-teach, after that it all fell naturally in place.
I was an athlete, so I got some injuries, yoga has helped me a lot. I have a masters in sport management. But I have been working with my body all my life, I also do and teach Acroyoga which provides a lot of conscious for movement. I did my teacher trainining in Ecuador and worked there for two years.

First we talk about the needs of the student and if there is any injuries to consider, after that I will give an intro and a class, and we can keep going from there.
Ask all the questions you can and share all the information about your injuries, If you have them. It is Important for the teacher to know everything to guide a healthy practice.
