About Desiree
I'm a retired opera singer and public school educator. I have two adult children who are also active in music and I have two dogs. In my early years, I worked as a staff singer for some prominent churches that had fantastic music! Those were some of the best times of my life! I still sing for churches every now and again, but like to keep my Sundays free to visit with my children.
I'm a little quirky and have always tried to express myself and have fun!

I'm a multi- faceted teacher who tailors every lesson to the individual needs of each student. My lessons have 3 parts: vocal health, music theory/ ear training, and repertoire. I am always your biggest fan, but expect you to work. When you have a lesson with me, we will work hard, laugh a bit, and learn a lot! I work with students of all ages and live to watch musicians grow in skill and confidence.
