Expert Primary English (QTS) — experienced across all year groups, including SEND and ESOL

Mike has been like a breath of fresh air for us. Our son is autistic PDA, nervous system disability. Mike has taken the time to really get to know our son, and we admire the patience and moments of learning that Mike weaves into the class. Our son likes to have a sense of ownership and the way that Mike is able to navigate this without judgement is truly telling not only of a great teacher but a very kind hearted person. We are very grateful to have him on board team A!

Mike has helped with my 6 year old son for the last 9 months.
My son struggles at school with his English. Mike has been able to adapted lessons to keep my son fully engaged. Mike has made a great difference to my son’s reading and writing. Best of all my son enjoys going to his lessons, which I see as a great achievement for Mike, as my son will not sit down for more than 10 minutes of work with me. Thank you, Mike

Mike has been fantastic working with our 6yo boy - my son listens to Mike, is always happy and has made great progress. Children are so unpredictable and our son certainly has demand avoidance but with Mike he has sat for an hour many times in a row doing homework. We are very pleased

Working with Mike as a team member, I can attest to his diligence, open and effective communication, and the utmost value he places on accountability, making him a reliable asset to any group. Furthermore, he has demonstrated excellent organisational skills. He approaches every task with thoroughness and a clear, methodical approach, setting and meeting goals, helping garner the respect of his peers. I highly recommend Mike due to his considerate and positive nature and strong work ethic.

Highly recommend Mike. He is currently working with my daughter on her maths and English, and my daughter has said that Mike is a very good teacher. He explains everything to you on a level of your understanding and makes you feel relaxed while doing the work.

Mike is methodical in approach and aims to get the best out of his students by encouraging them. I am very happy with the support he gave to my autistic child and reccomend him!

Professional and reliable. Very easy to talk with.
