About Lisa
I am a singing tutor with over 15 years of experience, specialising in teaching college students. My lessons focus on developing strong vocal technique, including breath control, pitch accuracy, vocal tone, and expressive performance. I also help students build confidence and emotional connection to music.
I use creative and interactive methods such as vocal improvisation, recording exercises, and song analysis. Each lesson is tailored to the student’s pace, style, and goals, making learning enjoyable and effective.
Performance skills are central to my teaching. I guide students in stage presence, expressive delivery, and confidence for recitals, auditions, and competitions. I also include music theory and ear training to provide a solid musical foundation.
I encourage students to explore different genres and develop their personal voice. My philosophy emphasises patience, creativity, and accountability, making every lesson motivating, inspiring, and rewarding.

My singing teaching methodology focuses on clarity, creativity, and steady progress. Communication is the foundation of every lesson. I explain vocal concepts such as posture, breathing techniques, voice placement, and pitch control in simple language so students can apply them confidently.
Creativity plays an important role in my teaching. I encourage expressive singing, creative vocal drills, and emotional storytelling through songs. This helps students enjoy learning and express themselves freely.
Cultural sensitivity is always respected in my classes. I value every student’s musical background and encourage learning songs from different cultures and languages. This builds confidence and respect for musical diversity.
Accountability is ensured through structured lesson plans, regular practice goals, and honest feedback. I guide students with discipline and motivation. In addition to singing, I also teach music reading, rhythm training, ear training, performance skills, and vocal health.
