About Cimone
I’m currently an FAA Commercial Pilot with multi-engine and instrument ratings, and a Master of Aviation student at Massey University. I’m also working toward my flight instructor rating, which is a big part of why I enjoy teaching.
I value real, practical understanding of aviation and I’m always looking for ways to keep learning and improving as a pilot. Tutoring is a great way for me to do that while also helping others build a strong foundation and confidence in their understanding.

I focus on helping students truly understand aviation concepts rather than just memorizing them. As an FAA Commercial Pilot with multi-engine and instrument ratings, and a Master of Aviation student at Massey University, I bring both practical flying experience and academic knowledge into my teaching.
I’ve previously volunteered as a tutor at my flight school, helping students with theory and clarifying difficult concepts in a simple, structured way. My approach is patient and tailored to each student, whether you’re just starting out or working through more advanced topics.
Lessons are typically 1 hour and can cover areas such as PPL theory, navigation, human factors, and general flight concepts. I aim to make sessions clear, interactive, and genuinely enjoyable.
