About Dorothy
I'm a Filipino Registered Nurse with over 10 years of hands-on experience in the Adult Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit at one of Saudi Arabia's top-performing government hospitals. I hold a Master of Arts in Nursing, and I currently work as a staff nurse as well as a team leader on some shifts, responsible for guiding and mentoring nursing staff in real patient care and clinical documentation every day — not just in a classroom setting. Teaching and explaining clinical concepts clearly is already part of my daily job, so tutoring is a natural extension of work I already do well. My goal in every session is to make sure you leave with genuine understanding, not just memorized answers, and I'm committed to being patient, reliable, and responsive to your specific learning needs.

My lessons are built around real bedside experience, not just textbook theory. I usually start by understanding what you're struggling with or preparing for, then walk through concepts using real ICU scenarios, patient cases, and clinical reasoning so ideas actually stick. Expect practice questions, care-plan walkthroughs, and clear explanations of the "why" behind each concept — whether we're covering hemodynamics, medication safety, postoperative pain management, or general critical care fundamentals. I adjust pacing to your level, and I'm happy to revisit tricky topics across multiple sessions until they feel solid. Sessions are conducted online and can be scheduled flexibly around your time zone.
