About Muireann
My name is Muireann Igoe, I’m a final year student of BA Global Languages and will be doing a master's in teaching after graduation. I want to teach Irish and French specifically because I have always had an interest in languages, but my interest in teaching has stemmed from understanding what it feels like to have no idea what’s going on in Irish (and French!) I learned Irish from primary school onwards and French in secondary; but I completely understand how important it is when learning languages to begin at a level and continue at a pace that people are comfortable with!

Learning languages is a skill that absolutely everyone can achieve through practice. In my degree, we have started from the ground up in both languages and have covered different areas through various teaching styles to cater for everyone, as every person has a different learning style, and this work as the foundation for my teaching methods when helping students also!
