About Lucy
I am currently in my final year of University doing a BA in French and TESOL.
Throughout my course I have volunteered teaching groups of up to 16 students from elementary to upper-intermediate level, and also had to do assessed teaching each week as part of my degree.
I am wanting to keep up with my knowledge of teaching whilst I am on maternity leave and think that doing a few one-on-one lessons each week will help.

I have experience teaching English to mixed groups of refugees from elementary to upper-intermediate. From this, I have learned that many students would like to learn English in order to 'get by' living in England, therefore, many of my lessons are based on conversational English. However, I think that it is important to improve on all skills, so I also cover reading, writing and listening lessons and provide help with grammar and pronunciation.
