About Upuli
I am a well-qualified, service-driven, friendly, and skilled professional with a passion for teaching. I thoroughly enjoy helping students achieve their academic and professional goals. I teach accountancy, finance, investment, maths, and statistics at both graduate and postgraduate levels. Additionally, I tutor students preparing for professional exams, including the CFA. My expertise spans portfolio management, wealth management, corporate finance, financial reporting, quantitative methods, financial mathematics, equity investment, fixed income, alternative investment, risk management, derivatives, and foreign exchange. In accountancy, I cover all areas, including financial accounting, financial reporting, corporate reporting, and financial management. I also teach GCSE and A-level mathematics, statistics, and accounting, covering the syllabus for all exam boards. I bring over three years of teaching experience, combined with strong academic credentials. I hold an MSc (Honours) in Finance Analytics from King’s College London and a BSc (2:1) in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics. I have passed CFA Levels 1 and 2, scoring in the 90th percentile for both exams. Currently, I work in Deal Advisory at KPMG, where I provide advisory services on mergers, acquisitions, and other financial transactions. This professional experience allows me to bring practical, real-world insights into my teaching, making complex concepts easier to understand and apply.

My teaching style is very effective and efficient. I make the study material to students easy and understandable so that it makes sense to the learners. I provide a friendly learning environment. I repeat key concepts many times until the students grasp it as understanding the key concept is very crucial for passing the exam. I demonstrate how to approach the exam question and answer the question within the time limit as time management is another essential factor during the exam. Most of the students who followed my method of learning succeed in the exam. All lessons will be done online.
