About Abigail
Hi! I'm Abigail, a painter in Birmingham, AL. I tutor in drawing (charcoal, graphite), painting (oil, acrylic, watercolor), and portfolio preparation for scholastic, art school, or programs. I've taken AP drawing classes so I'm familiar with the process, and I've taught art for two years in a studio and I've tutored for three. I've been featured in art shows, commission abstract, and do personalized oil portrait painting.

My teaching method is following along with the student step by step to understand not only the process of making art, but also the technique and skill that can be applied to any medium. I am able to explain abstract concepts (color wheel, shadows, portrait structure) very easily for deeper understanding.
