About María
I am an artist graduated from the National University of Colombia, and I hold a master's degree in Photography and Visual Arts from LUCA School of Arts in Brussels, Belgium. I have experience in contemporary theater as an actress, art and set designer, and pedagogical accompaniment. I have also collaborated with curatorship and assembly of exhibitions. Currently I am dedicated to ceramics and the production of video and digital photography.

In my classes, I propose a space for exploration and curiosity in the face of different artistic practices, from painting, drawing, watercolor, to three-dimensional media such as ceramics, or digital media such as photography and video. Depending on the particular interest of each student, I articulate my workshops to provide a deep insight into each technique, as well as its history and contemporary context. I seek to awaken the creative potential of each person, and accompany the process of each one on their artistic learning path.
