About Maia
I am a friendly and outgoing individual, who enjoys helping students find their enthusiasm for the subject, hone in on their skills and become more confident in their studies. I achieved high grades myself at both GCSE and A level, as well as achieving a First Class mark at the University of Leeds, one of the top schools within my subject.
As someone who struggled myself in exam situations, I recognise the need to inspire this confidence in others to help achieve the best outcome in their exams or classes. If I could do it, so can you!

I assess your level of understanding of each subject, looking through previous examples of your work to gauge what we need to work on, providing supportive feedback and answering all your questions with clarity. We work together to analyse the text/exam questions, emphasise important points and develop your ideas in line with the mark scheme. I may provide pieces of homework if possible with your schedule.
Each lesson may vary from 45 to 60 minutes depending on your schedule. Teaching students from 15 to 18 in both GCSE and A level.
