About Robyn
Classical and contemporary soloist, with recent collaborations with Zoe Martlew and John Kenny for the commission of a new multidisciplinary solo horn work. Session work includes RAK, Henry Wood Hall, and Castlesound Studios. Founding member of award-winning quintet Connaught Brass, recently back from debut performances in the Lucerne Festival. Freelance orchestral player within the UK and internationally including the London Sinfonietta, The Evolution orchestra, the Luminaire Orchestra, Orchestra for the Earth, Emergence Ensemble, Camerata del Titano, and the Bombay Chamber Orchestra. Guest coach and workshop leader for National Youth French Horn Ensemble GB, and the Blues and Roots Ensemble.

My teaching method will vary significantly from student to student. It's very much a collaborative process, where I find out what your interests are and where your strengths lie, and we focus on building from where you are at in that moment. With me as your teacher we can explore improvisation, elements of performance art and confidence building skills, playing music with real intention and artistry, how to approach musical exams and concerts, and having fun with whatever you're playing!
