About Jenny
I am a First-Class Graduate from the University of Portsmouth in International Development. My subject focused on relevant and complex subjects such as global gender issues, foreign affairs, international relations, poverty, charity management, conflict and humanitarianism. I am currently now studying my Masters degree in Crisis and Disaster Management. I often help my friends and family with their work because I have developed a great skill of teaching others and improving their work. I am able to create effective plans, develop your ideas, create structured arguments and analyse your work. I achieved a first in my dissertation 'The Values and Pitfalls for Including Indigenous Knowledge in Disaster Risk Reduction'. I currently work for a organisation that works to improve poverty in Madagascar, so I have gained experience in this field.
I also have GCSE experience working with a private maths and English tutor company.
In addition, I am able to help with personal statements and CVs. I have great experience and success in applying to jobs and degree courses, and thoroughly enjoy this.

My teaching method is versatile and able to be adapted to suit your needs. I am a very organised person, who likes to break each section apart and really focus on providing all answers to each question. I believe in improving confidence of students and providing them the ability to enhance their skills to use independently. I don't want to do the work for you, but provide you with the direction and path to use the skills you already have in an effective and successful way. I am new to this, but I have gained experience over the last 4 years of helping fellow colleagues, friends and classmates with their work and improving their grade.
