About Maimuna
I am a First-Class Mathematics graduate with a strong passion for maths and problem-solving. During my studies, I developed not only a deep understanding of mathematics but also an appreciation for how important clear teaching is in helping others succeed.
I want to teach because I know how easily students can lose confidence in maths when concepts are not explained in the right way. I enjoy breaking down difficult topics into simple, step-by-step explanations and helping students reach that “lightbulb moment” where everything clicks.
My goal is to make maths feel less intimidating and more logical, while helping students build strong foundations and confidence in their abilities.
I specialise in KS2 and KS3 Maths and aim to create a calm, supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace.

I am a First-Class Mathematics graduate offering KS2–KS3 Maths tuition in London. My approach is calm, structured, and focused on building strong foundations and confidence in maths.
I use step-by-step explanations, breaking problems into simple, manageable parts. I adapt each lesson to the student’s needs, focusing on understanding rather than memorisation, and helping them develop problem-solving skills at their own pace.
Typical lessons are 1 hour long, but can be adjusted depending on the student’s attention span and goals.
I hold a First-Class degree in Mathematics and use my strong subject knowledge to explain concepts clearly and simply, making maths more accessible and less intimidating.
My lessons are aimed at KS2 and KS3 students (ages approx. 7–14), including those who want to improve confidence, catch up, or strengthen their understanding of core maths topics.
