I operate as a facilitator rather than a traditional lecturer, meaning I focus on guiding learners toward genuine fluency and comprehension rather than outdated rote memorization. My Approach and Methodology:
My teaching philosophy moves away from rote memorization. Instead, I focus on practical, conversational fluency and cultural context. I run a highly interactive, digital-first classroom. For online students, I utilize a high-definition webcam, interactive screen-sharing as well as custom digital flashcards to ensure zero communication barriers. Whether we are covering basic vocabulary or complex syntax, I break down concepts into relatable, real-world examples.
My Qualifications & Experience:
As a native Swahili speaker and a university-trained linguist actively facilitating the modern CBC curriculum in Nairobi, I bring both authentic language mastery and professional pedagogical skills to every lesson.
