About Munthaha

I have recently graduated in BSc Mathematics with First Class Honours at Queen Mary University of London. I have been tutoring Maths for five years, to KS2 up to A Level students, so can communicate to a plethora of age groups, and tailor my teaching style to different students. I have A-Levels in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry, in which I achieved A*,A,A*,A, respectively.

About the lesson

I begin by listening to the students goals and what they believe their areas for improvement are. I may then test the students’ knowledge on some topics to gauge their ability and gaps in knowledge. My teaching style is learning by doing: questions, questions and more questions! As much as possible, I get students to mark their own work, to encourage being critical of their answers and to familiarise themselves with the mark schemes. To supplement tutorial sessions, I may assign homework according to the needs of each student.

Munthaha's response
Bella gained understanding in counting money using as few coins as possible, but just needs a lot more practice in order to gain confidence.

Munthaha has been teaching my two children for the past year or so and I have seen their school grades improve dramatically.

She has great knowledge of the subjects and teaches in a way that is fun and enjoyable.

Another element of Munthaha's professionalism that always surprised me is how versatile she is. Munthaha was tutoring my children in science while tutoring friends of the family in maths.

Munthaha's approach and dedication helped to make sure my children excelled in their subjects and never got held back.
