About Nico
I am a Singing tutor with 10 years of experience teaching High School and College students. I have successfully guided over 250 students, helping them improve vocal technique, musical expression, and stage confidence. My teaching philosophy focuses on personalised learning, patience, and encouragement, ensuring each student enjoys learning while making meaningful progress.
In lessons, I work on vocal technique, breath control, pitch, tone, rhythm, and performance skills. I also prepare students for competitions, recitals, and college performances, many of whom have earned awards and recognition.
I integrate music theory, ear training, and sight-reading, providing a strong foundation in music. I create a supportive and inspiring environment, where students feel confident exploring their voice and expressing themselves creatively.
My goal is to help students discover their unique voice, perform confidently, and develop a lifelong love for music, making every lesson engaging and rewarding.

My singing lessons are built around flexibility, creativity, and personalisation. I adapt lessons to each student’s unique learning style, whether auditory, visual, or kinaesthetic, to make learning effective and engaging.
Creativity is at the heart of my teaching—I encourage students to explore vocal styles, improvise, and express themselves freely. Using diplomacy, I provide feedback in a positive, constructive manner that helps students grow confidently.
In addition to singing, I teach music theory, sight-reading, ear training, rhythm, and vocal technique. I also emphasise performance preparation, including stage presence, interpretation of lyrics, and emotional expression. My methodology blends technical skill with artistic expression, helping students become confident, expressive, and versatile singers.
I work with all levels, from beginners learning the fundamentals to advanced students preparing for auditions or professional performances. My goal is to create lessons that are structured, engaging, and creatively inspiring.
