About Cristina
I am a former teacher of 20 years experience with elementary school age children. I spent 16 years as a special education teacher so I have expertise in differentiation and scaffolding instruction to ensure student success. I have a Master's degree in Special Education as well as a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. Additionally I have received my certification in Autism Spectrum Disorders.

By slowly working up from fundamentals, students build confidence and the capacity for applying knowledge without being hurried. - **Real-World Connections**: I often connect theoretical content to real-world examples, showing students how what they're learning can be applied outside of the classroom. I don't just point out mistakes but also explain how to correct them and why the correct approach is better.
