I came across Mark's profile while looking for a Math teacher to help my son, who is in year 11, prepare for his entry exams to Dulwich College. Really can't recommend Mark enough. We are two terms in to maths tutoring for our Y9 daughter and Mark has absolutely brought her on in leaps and bounds. So much for the ethos with Mark is positive, reinforcing teaching. He gets to know the individual and how they work, drawing on their strengths and ways of working. He makes lessons inclusive, fun and challenging. The difference for us has been how positive our daughter has been feeling about her maths journey. For us this isn't about her being top of the grades but to ensure that her journey with maths is a stable, consistent one so that she can get through the GCSE feeling supported and confident in her ability. Mark has been excellent with our maths shy teenager. Charlie really struggled with confidence in his maths and hated tackling weekly homework. Don't get me wrong, he would choose not to do any maths given the choice, but his confidence has definitely improved with Mark.
We have agreed to a break in tuition for a while, but will 100% be using Mark again and even more when GCSE years start

Mark has gone over and above with our son who has additional SEN. In a short few months, hindered by our son also being very unwell with Glandular fever running up to the exam period, his grades moved from a 3 at mocks to a 5 on completing GCSE Maths. A huge relief, thank you.
