Polish
I've taught Polish to American diplomats who were later sent to Warsaw and Krakow, including the former Deputy Chief of Mission to Poland. I'm ready to help teach Polish from scratch or help intermediate and advanced speakers improve further. Being bilingual, I have a solid understanding of how Polish is understood from an English speaker's perspective.
For beginners, I am ready to assist with grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation, and to help develop a solid foundation in the language.
For advanced learners, I typically teach through a combination of methods used by the State Department, including:
-conversation
-translation and interpretation of written sources
-written tasks
I am ready to adjust my approach based on the needs of any individual student!
