About Mar
I am a fourth year medical student. I am bilingual in Catalan and Spanish, so I can teach in either of the two languages. I have a C1 level in English and I am fluenct enough to teach the subject of English and only speak that language during the lessons if desired. I have given classes in common subjects and English to high school students from 7th to 12th grade (ESO and bachillerato) as well as teaching revision classes for the exam to acces university (selectividad). In addition to private classes, I have also worked as a monitor during the summers and I am used to working with children of different ages.

I like for the students to participate in deciding which are the most important aspects to review. During the classes I prefer to dedicate as much time as possible to the practical exercises since they are the best method to integrate knowledge. I start the classes with a quick review of the subject and then we start with the exercises, through which I continue to explain the concepts.
My goal is not only for the student to learn the subject but also to try and teach them study methods so that they can better at managing the work outside of class.
I have experience teaching at a high school level (ESO and bachillerato) and preparation for selectivity. I can give revision in any subject of secondary, the common subjects of bachillerato and science.
