About Nuran
My decision to become a teacher was influenced by my passion for languages and my willingness to help people in a field that I am passionate and comfortable with. I earned my BA in Modern Languages & Literature in a Belgian university in Brussels. Later on I continued studying Modern Languages & Literature but with a focus on education at master's level in another Belgian university, where I had literature, linguistics and Second Language Teaching classes in these three languages, as well as an internship in teaching. I have worked as a private language tutor with individuals or groups for 8 years, teaching French, Turkish and English.

My lessons are student-centred and I adapt the lessons to the needs and expectations of each learner. For instance, if you are solely willing to improve your speaking skills, then I make sure to plan our lessons focused mainly on verbal communication and so on. Or if you wish to learn to practise your writing in the foreign language, then I use methods and create activities that would help you improve your writing skills. You can always choose not to focus on something specific, in which case we would be doing grammar, speaking, listening, writing and so on, on various but up-to-date topics. I use several language books, internet sources, videos, audio recordings, authentic texts, in order to find the best materials that would suit you. You are never required to purchase any book, as I'd be sending you a copy of the pages or anything we'd use before the lesson. After each class, I assign a small homework piece, (always based on how busy you are during that week), as I believe repetition is key to improvement. During the lesson I make sure to provide a comfortable and energetic learning environment, in which learners can express themselves confidently and with ease. I am a highly-positive person and believe that positive interaction is one of the main aspects in teaching.

J'ai utilisé superprof pour améliorer mes notes d'anglais et Nuran était la troisième prof avec laquelle j'ai travaillé.
Étant donné quelle est jeune (27 ans) je me sentais à l'aise de bosser avec elle. En plus elle est douée, j'ai très facilement compris les erreurs que je faisais au par avant.
Depuis c'est beaucoup plus facile de construire des phrases et d'apprendre du nouveau vocabulaire.
Maintenant lorsque je parle ou écris en anglais ça vient de manière plus instinctive et j'ai beaucoup plus de facilité qu'avant. En plus je suis parmie les première de ma classe en anglais tandis qu'avant qu'avant c'était pas trop ça...

Having studied languages, Nuran is very professionnal and skilled to explain grammar and linguistics. The most complicated grammatical constructions she would break down in steps and explain me in a simple and clear way.
