About Margot
I am patient and enthusiastic and I am convinced that everyone can learn and progress with methods adapted to their type of memory and learning. Therefore, I mostly use games to complement "classical" lessons. I always base my explanation on some type of document from songs to videos and pictures. As a student, I liked being involved in the class and not only writing, so as a tutor, I try to get my students to participate and encourage them in order to enhance their memorization and confidence.

I believe that in order to progress you have to like what you are studying. Staying focused for a long period of time can be hard and hence my lessons are usually 1h to 1h30 long. I tutored when I was in high school. As a native speaker, I mostly teach school and college levels.

Perfect! They're strength I believe is in explaining complicated topics in an understandable way. And their patience with students is amazing.
Perfect! Margot has been a fantastic help in preparing me for the Leaving Cert. She’s very pleasant and approachable, and her explanations of grammar and language are always clear and easy to follow. Her lesson plans are well-structured, tailored to my needs, and she’s consistently encouraging and supportive. I’d highly recommend her to anyone looking for effective and enjoyable grinds.

Perfect! Margot is an excellent tutor! She goes at your pace and provides many resources to help you. She helps you with many aspects of French and teaches you HOW and WHY grammar rules work, instead of making you learn it off. Overall Margot was an excellent tutor and helped me with my French :)
Perfect! Margot built a great rapport with my son who is sitting his Leaving Cert exams this year. She has a great ability to make him feel at ease while also increasing his confidence in the language. She works at his pace and very quickly picked up what he needed to work on. Highly recommend Margot to anyone needing to improve their French skills. Her understanding , gentle and clear concise approach is really making a huge difference.

I have known Margot for around a year know. She is very friendly and pleasent to talk to. She has an incredible knowlege of the language, she is pantient and can explain many complex intricacies as small and easily learnable pieces. Her fluency in French and English is simply something to marvel at. I would highly recommend Margot as a teacher or tutor.
