About Siona

I’m a French tutor with over 3 years of experience and a PhD in French Linguistics. I specialize in teaching teenagers aged 13–18, making French engaging through youth culture. Lessons draw on music, films, and social media trends to make learning lively and relatable.

I focus on conversational fluency, everyday expressions, and contemporary slang. My approach emphasizes interaction and cultural relevance, helping students feel connected to the language. Grammar and vocabulary are introduced in ways that are meaningful and memorable.

Students practice speaking, listening, and understanding French as it is used by young people today. I tailor lessons to each student’s interests and learning style. My goal is to nurture curiosity, self-expression, and confidence in using French.

By blending language and culture, I help teens develop skills they can use both inside and outside the classroom. Learning becomes fun, dynamic, and relevant.

About the lesson

My teaching methodology emphasizes advanced French for critical thinking and intellectual engagement. I help students explore philosophy, abstract concepts, and academic essay writing with precision and clarity. Lessons encourage deep analytical thought while making language learning stimulating and accessible.

I guide students in reading and interpreting complex texts, forming logical arguments, and expressing ideas coherently in both speech and writing. Vocabulary, grammar, and stylistic nuances are taught in context to strengthen communication.

Sessions are interactive, combining discussion, essay exercises, and text analysis. I tailor each lesson to the student’s goals, whether professional, academic, or personal growth. Together, we break down complex ideas and practice expressing them confidently.

My approach nurtures intellectual curiosity, analytical rigor, and linguistic precision. By the end, students can discuss abstract topics fluently, craft thoughtful essays, and convey ideas with clarity and confidence.
