About John
John began teaching ESL in General English, ESP, and Test Preparation in the 1990s, with the qualifications of B.A. (hons), M.A. qual, and Cert TESOL, and from the early 2000s became an IELTS examiner and has taught at Westminster University, London, Birmingham City University, U.K., as well as Adelaide University, Australia and University of South Australia. He was the manager as well as lecturer of the English Language Services department at Binus International University in Jakarta, Indonesia. He has not only managed and designed syllabi but also taught Academic English as well as Test Preparation in IELTS, TOEIC, TOEFL, SAT, and GMAT, the latter at the London MBA school. Now in Brisbane, Australia he is happy to teach all of these subjects at any level, either in person or online to individuals or groups. John's teaching is informed by many years experience at every level from beginner to the highest level (PhD candidates) and is therefore excellent with great results, one of the most recent being a student who gained 8.5 in IELTS, thereby making his long-held dream a reality. John does everything to ensure you can trust your future with him.
